Established in 1944, the Mississippi Regional Housing Authority IV (MRHA IV) was created to ensure access to safe, quality, and affordable housing for residents across our nine-county region in northeast Mississippi.
For more than eight decades, our mission has remained the same: to strengthen communities by fostering stable, well-maintained neighborhoods where individuals and families can thrive. We believe that affordable housing is not just a basic need but a cornerstone of vibrant, sustainable communities.
Guided by the leadership of our Board of Commissioners and dedicated staff, MRHA IV continues to grow in scope, reputation, and impact. Today, we proudly provide housing assistance for more than 7,000 individuals across over 2,500 units, helping families find security, stability, and opportunity within the communities they call home.
